STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND GOALS
Our child care center was created to be a ministry to the community and, therefore, an atmosphere conducive to spiritual growth and development is maintained at all times. Basic Christian values and Biblical truths are taught and implemented into every part of our program on a daily basis. The Bible is used as a source for stories, scripture, memorization, songs, and principles for daily living.
We, at First Baptist Child Development Center, believe that each child is an individual who has special talents, intellect, personality, and physical abilities. Our responsibility is to provide the very best care while your child is away from home, providing an atmosphere where the child feels loved, respected, and secure. We are to help each child learn to work as a member of a group and assist him/her with developing attitudes and skills that will enhance learning later in life. To accomplish this, a team approach is necessary to make our program adapt to each child’s individual needs to help them develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
